Public Health is very important to how a child develops. Even though all these public health measures play an important role, immunizations is the most important to me. I feel that immunizations can prevent children from different diseases and it also can help them overcome many diseases. Children in the United States are required to have many immunizations throughout their life. Children need them immunizations before they start school. Many religions don't believe in giving their children immunizations.
Immunizations in France is quite different from the United States. In 2018, parents in France will be legally obliged to vaccinate their children. Only three vaccines, for diphtheria, tetanus, and polio, are the only ones currently mandatory in France. Others, like hepatitis and whopping cough are only recommended, Unlike in the U.S. hepatitis and whopping cough is required.
Kendra,
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this information. Did you know that there are religious and philosophical exemptions in each state that allow parents to not give their children in school immunizations? If you're interested you can find your specific state exemptions here: https://www2a.cdc.gov/nip/schoolsurv/schImmRqmtReport.asp
